THE ORIGIN - a new oratorio based on Charles Darwin's The Origin of Species, commissioned by Artswego and scheduled to premiere in 2009.

VOICES OF LIGHT: THE PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC - an oratorio to accompany Carl Dreyer's 1927 silent film, scored for soloists, chorus. orchestra, and electronics. Sold out both performances at Brooklyn Academy of Music Next Wave Festival. Over 100 additional performances both on tour and with local orchestras including the National Symphony at Wolf Trap and the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and the Cabrillo Festival. Major international tour planned. Major media coverage, including extended television feature on CBS Sunday Morning, articles in the Wall Street Journal and other major papers, and extensive radio coverage and airplay including All Things Considered and Performance Today. CD on Sony Classical is an international classical bestseller.

MY MANY COLORED DAYS - for orchestra, commissioned by the Minnesota Orchestra. Based upon the book by Dr. Seuss. Premiered in January, 1998. Released as a DVD by Blackboard Video with narration by Holly Hunter.

A CARNIVAL OF MIRACLES - for Anonymous 4 (4 female voices). Commissioned by WNYC-FM. Premiered in November, 1999. Available as part of a compilation CD from WNYC.

RED ANGELS - ballet for the New York City Ballet, choreographed by Ulysses Dove. Premiered at Lincoln Center, New York during Diamond Project Gala Benefit. Additional performances at Saratoga Performing Arts. Numerous performances at Lincoln Center and other major venues. Major grants from Philip Morris and Aaron Diamond Foundation, among others. Opened Fall 1995 Paris season of the New York City Ballet. Broadcast on Live at Lincoln Center in May 2002. In the permanent repertory of the New York City Ballet.

MAXWELL'S DEMON - for electric violin. Major performances in the repertory of New York City Ballet (choreographed by Ulysses Dove). Performances at Lincoln Center, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Serious Fun! Festival at Lincoln Center, live television broadcast in Sweden, Grand Canyon Chamber Festival, and elsewhere in Germany, Italy, and the U.S.

THE SPIRES, THE CITIES, THE FIELD - a cantata for mezzo-soprano, harmonica, and orchestra in Memory of the Victims of September 11. Commissioned and premiered by the Albany Symphony Orchestra.

THE FOURTH MANNER OF LOVING - for chorus and orchestra, commissioned and premiered by the Elgin Choral Union.

CITY OF BRIDES - for violin, viola, cello, and percussion commissioned by American Dance Festival for Annie - B. Parson. Performances at American Dance Festival, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Guggenheim Museum, and Dance Theater Workshop.

FLOWERS OF EVIL - for cello and voice commissioned by Brenda Daniels with vocal performances by John Kelly, Marc Farre, and David Daniels. Performances at Dia, NYC, and the Celebrate Brooklyn Festival.

THE SILENCE - for double electric string quartet. World premiere on John Schaefer's News Sounds Live concert series. Nationally syndicated broadcast on National Public Radio in Spring, 1995. In the repertory of the Sirius String Quartet.

THE CRYSTAL RADIO - for flute and harp. World premiere by Giverny at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Numerous performances in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.

CHINA PATTERNS - for the Brenda Daniels Dance Company. Performance at New York's Joyce Theater.
