Red Angels in Pacific Northwest Ballet's 09-10 Season
The Pacific Northwest Ballet of Seattle, WA will feature selected works of the late choreographer Ulysses Dove in their 09-10 season. Of Dove's selected works, Red Angels with music from Richard Einhorn's Maxwell's Demon will be performed at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival in Becket, MA as well as the Marion Olive McCaw Hall in Seattle, WA. Maxwell's Demon performed in Melbourne, Australia
Maxwell's Demon #4 was performed at the Abbotsford Convent in Melbourne, Australia back on November 23rd, 2008. It opened at VOLUME, a program of commissions and contemporary music for violin and percussion. Sarah Curro performed the piece on an electric prototype violin by Paul Davies. RED ANGELS ON TV!
On May 28, 2002, Red Angels was broadcast on PBS as part of the "Live from Lincoln Center" telecast of the New York City Ballet. In addition to the complete ballet, interviews with electric violinist Mary Rowell (among other artists) were also broadcast.

RED ANGELS RETURNS IN 2002
Ulysses Dove's hit ballet, Red Angels, set to Richard Einhorn's music for electric violin, Maxwell's Demon, will be performed twice in the 2002 Spring season by the New York City Ballet. Show dates and times are Tuesday, May 23, 2002 at 8 p.m. (as part of the "Modern Classics Series") and Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at 8 p.m. as part of an All Diamond Project Program. RED ANGELS LIMITED EDITION CDs
Red Angels is available as a limited edition CD Single. The music (Maxwell's Demon #1-4) is performed by violinist Mary Rowell (on 5-string electric violin), and as an extra bonus, all CD singles have been signed by both composer and performer!
